Inspiration from HULA’s Founder on Circular Fashion

The MA in Sustainable Fashion and Innovation (MASFI) recently hosted an inspiring guest talk by Ms Sarah Fung, the founder and CEO of HULA, on 20 September 2024. During this engaging session, Sarah shared her journey of building HULA from an online shop to a thriving circular fashion brand with two physical locations in Hong Kong.

Sarah highlighted the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry and how HULA’s circular fashion model contributes to reducing the industry’s carbon footprint. She also addressed the challenges of the adverse stereotypes associated with pre-owned items, emphasizing that lots of benefits can be found in pre-loved fashion, including quality and style at discounted prices.
